Responsibilities:
Assists faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction.
Assists faculty with the supervision and mentoring of students during scheduled lab sessions or tutoring sessions, as needed.
Assists faculty with maintaining a clean and safe lab environment.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment, as instructed.
Assists with inventory maintenance and requisition of supplies.
Obtains materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials.
Completes ALL required employee trainings.
Meets with students, staff members, supervisors, as needed.
Assists with special projects or initiatives, as needed.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned by program chair.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Diploma in Cosmetology or a related field.
A valid Georgia Master Barber License.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Ability to assist day and evening classes.
Five (5) years' experience in the cosmetology industry.
Experience with TCSG cosmetology programs.
Experience with a diverse clientele and services including:
shaving, barber cutting techniques, wet hairstyling, color, permanent waving, relaxers, smoothing treatments, and/or skin care.
Knowledge of NIC licensure exams.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
